Shelton's Poultry Review!!

Look at that! More JERKY!! Another company has sent me some yummy stuff to try out! This time, I received peppered original turkey jerky, hot and spicy turkey jerky, jalapeno turkey smoked snack sticks, original turkey smoked snack sticks, ad pepperoni flavored turkey smoked snack sticks. They also sent me some turkey chili with beans, mild turkey chili with beans and a can of premium breast of chicken to try out. All of these products are gluten free.

I tried the peppered original first. I didn't think I would like it as much as I did because of the pepper, but it was really good. It's a thin cut jerky but it was really tender. I thought it was a bit peppery, so I didn't eat the whole bag like I normally would when it comes to jerky.

Next, I tried the hot and spicy. Once again, I was a bit hesitant, I don't like spicy foods. It was definitely hot and spicy! My mouth was still burning from the peppered jerky, but it made my mouth burn even more! When I swallowed the tiniest piece I could find in the bag, my throat was on fire!! This jerky would be great for the heat lovers in your house!

I then tried the pepperoni flavored stick. It had a really good pepperoni flavor. Definitely great for letting my mouth cool down from the previous two flavors I tried. I thought it tasted great!

Following the pepperoni, I tried the original. I will have to say, this one was my favorite! It was really good. Just a plain turkey stick. I could taste the smoked flavor, but it wasn't overpowering.

Finally out of the jerky selection I had to try, I tried the Jalapeno flavored stick. It was a little spicy, but not to bad. Still had a great flavor.

After trying all the jerky, I tried the mild chili. It was delicious! It wasn't a soupy chili, it was a chunky chili. Not spicy at all, so that was a plus! I definitely would like to have more of this.

Although, I didn't get the chance to try the spicy turkey chili, I was all spiced out, I have a feeling that when I do try it, it will be just as good as everything else I tried from the Shelton's Poultry company. I also did't have the chance to try the can of chicken. But I think it would make a great sandwich.

You can find your jerky or chili along with a bunch of other stuff they offer at their website! They also offer pet treats!

Nick's Sticks Jerky Sticks Review!

Ahh! More jerky! I am loving this! The Nick's Sticks company was nice enough to let me try their completely delicious jerky sticks! Regular beef, spicy beef, regular turkey and spicy turkey. They were all really good! I liked the turkey ones better than the beef, but I ate them all! Well, I shared them with my kids, I had to, they don't let me eat anything without them trying it.

I was really happy that these jerky sticks were more healthy than the jerky you buy in stores. There are no additives, no preservatives, no MSG, no antibiotics, no hormones, no fillers and no red dye #3 in their casings.
Nick's Sticks also treats their animals very humanely. Their cows are grass fed, and their turkeys are free range, non of that chemical and hormone filled crap most other places feed their animals to make them grow faster. This is always nice to read, I am a HUGE animal lover! Growing up, I lived on a farm. We would raise our cows, pigs, chickens and more and then get them butchered. It was always hard, but it's a part of life and I learned that the hard way.

You can find you Nick's Sticks at their website, also you can read more about their company and their animals.

Jimmy's Sticky Jerky Review!

Yay! I got some jerky to try out for all of you! For those of you who don't know me, I LOVE me some jerky! So yes, I am excited!

I was offered the choice of two flavors out of the seven they offer; turkey sweet, beef sweet, beef black pepper, beef cilantro and lime, turkey heat, beef heat and beef fire. I am not big on spicy foods, so I chose the turkey sweet and the beef sweet.

So, when I first opened the package of the beef sweet and pulled out a piece, it was almost as if someone had just made homemade jerky! They jerky was super sticky, and looked amazing! Then comes the fun part; I tried a piece. It had a really good flavor, but had a little bit of a bite of spice to it. It was a little tough, but mostly tender! I would totally buy this brand of jerky if I seen it in a store!

Now it's time to try the turkey sweet. Same thing with this jerky, sticky and fresh looking, great smell, now to taste it! Definitely tender, more so than the beef sweet I tried. Really good flavor! I definitely liked the turkey sweet better than the beef sweet.

This jerky was a cool review for me to do as I am from Michigan and the owner (Jimmy) is from a small town in Michigan called Shelby.

You can find Jimmy's Sticky Jerky at their website, follow them on Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram. Also, like their Facebook page.

What flavor's will you chose?
