Artisana Review!

When I was younger, I used to love peanut butter! I would eat spoonfuls of it out of the jar. Nowadays, my taste for peanut butter has basically turned around. So when I was given the opportunity to try out some other spreadable nut butters, I was all for it! I like a little variety in my life!

I was able to taste a large variety of the Artisana Butters and even some chocolate spreads. I tried them all on graham crackers and I was so intrigued by the flavors! It was almost as if I was eating the actual nuts, they were all really good. Their products are all made from raw ingredients and are even healthy for you, depending on how you choose to eat them, anyways.

Kicking Horse Coffee Review & Giveaway!!

This is a great review for those coffee lovers out there, like myself! I love coffee, I prefer iced coffee or frozen coffee, but hot coffee is fine, too. Kicking Horse Kick-Ass Coffee is not only the right fit for this coffee, it's a different name! Coffee is a big thing for people everywhere, all over the world! Why not have the best of the best? Kicking horse has whole bean coffee, so you know your morning cup of Joe will be way more fresh than buying the already ground coffee beans you get in the store!

"The name says it all: carpe diem, play to win, no regrets. Don’t let this cute little donkey fool you—he plays for keeps. This take-no-prisoners roast is popular with athletes who’d rather enjoy a good cup of coffee than choke down an energy bar before a workout. A great mix of Indonesian and Central American beans that is guaranteed to kick some sense into you."

I was sent the Kick Ass Dark Roast to try out, which is meant to be sweet and smoky; it is! Their coffee comes from an natural environment; grown in the shade of the rain forest canopy. Not to mention, they use steel cans to package their coffee, which is the most recycled product in the world.

"Legend says coffee was first discovered in Ethiopia by a goat herder named Kaldi. He noticed his goats became frisky after munching on some unusual red cherries. He tried it himself and, well, the rest is you-know-what."

"Instead of drinking with the goats, those thoughtful Parisians simultaneously created a coffee conundrum and a social scene as they opened one of the first European cafés. This proved to be a revolutionary idea, and since then, many revolutions have had their inceptions in cafés."

You can read the rest of the Kicking Horse Kick-Ass Coffee's history, here

They also carry a variety of "tea & other stuff" you can find on their website!

Kicking Horse Coffee is available throughout the United states and Canada. You can also find it at their online store and Amazon.com.

Barbara's Cookie Pie Review!!

I recently was able to review Barbara's Peanut Butter Cup Cookie pie and it was delicious! She was nice enough to let me indulge in yet another one of her amazingly delicious pies! This time, it was a Chocolate Raspberry flavored one! I really enjoyed this one a lot more than that last, I think mostly because the cookie crust was like a soft chewy cookie instead of a hard crunchy one. They were both sooo good though!

This pie had raspberry filling with chocolate drizzled on top! Normally I can't stand eating raspberries because of the seeds, but I honestly can't remember if there were seeds in it, yeah, it was that good! And yes, the kids and I ate the whole pie... I feel horrible to admit that, but we couldn't resist!

I really look forward to trying out another pie from Barbara's! They would make a great gift idea for anyone with a sweet tooth! You can get yours and see all the other yummy looking stuff at her website!!

Pine Bros Softish Throat Drops Review!

So, being a mom of two kids who are always getting sick, I am also always getting sick! I know I'm not the only one who hates being sick and feeling like crap! I was able to try out the softish throat drops from Pine Bros as a review item!

I was given the choice between Natural Honey, Wild Cherry and Black licorice. I picked the Natural Honey, I hate black licorice anything and every cherry flavored cough drop I've ever had always tasted to horrible! Well, the honey ones tasted great and got the job done! Right around the time I received them in the mail I was sick with a sinus infection for about two and a half weeks, so it was great!

These are not like any other kind of cough drop I have ever tasted in my life! They weren't hard, they were gummy, like a gummy bear almost. Very unique! They definitely help my throat out a lot too!

Go ahead and get yourself some! You won't regret it! You can find their products at their website! Don't forget to like them on Facebook!

Grandma Hoerner's Big Slice Apples Review & Giveaway!

I am really not that big of an apple fan, but I pretty much love all fruit. These apples are not like anything I have ever tasted in my life! I was able to try six of their flavors: Raspberry Hibiscus & Coffee Extract, Natural, Cinnamon French Toast, Boysenberry Chocolate, Banana Mango & Hemp Seed, Pineapple Passion Fruit & Fiber, Blueberry Pomegranate and Cherry Vanilla. They were all very delicious! Don't let the flavors deceive you, they all tasted just as the pouch said!

Big Slice Apples started out with a young boy trying to recreate his grandma's recipe for slowly cooked apples. All together, Big Slice has created 16 different flavors to choose from:

They have their 'pure' flavors: Orange Ginger, Apricot, Natural, Blueberry Pomegranate, Lemon Berry, Chai and Cherry Vanilla.

Then there is the 'be fit' flavors: Banana Mango & Hemp Seed, Peach Green Tea & Aloe, Pineapple Passion Fruit & Fiber and Raspberry Hibiscus & Coffee Extract.

Finally, their 'indulgence' flavors: Peach Bellini, Cinnamon Candy, Boysenberry Chocolate, Cinnamon French Toast and Caramel.

They all sound YUMMY!! The apples are all slowly cooked in their naturally sweet juices, then infused with the other natural flavors. They aren't crunchy apples, they're soft; I think they would taste amazing if they were warmed up a little bit before eating, but I wasn't able to try that out, I actually just thought about it.. :/ I did get the chance to try a little bit of each flavor, but whenever I opened a pouch, my kids would attack me! They loved them so much, I will have to get some more for them, and myself! Nothing like a healthy snack, not only for you, but the rest of your family, too. The worst part about it, sharing.

You can fins more information about how these apples are made and see what other things they offer at their website.

Sheila G's Brownie Brittle Review!!

I was able to try four flavors of brownie brittle from Sheila G's. Mint chocolate, salted caramel, chocolate chip and toffee crunch! They were all really great! I don't know how she did it, but she is amazing! Its like she took the crunchy edges off the brownies and sent them to me in a bag! They all have their own great flavor, that's for sure!  Along with that delicious brownie flavor, yet, they were crunchy like a cookie! This was definitely a great treat!!

Barbara's Cookie Pies Review!!

I found this website just playing around on google and I thought I would give her pies a try! I received her Peanut Butter Cup Pie to review. She has so many flavors to chose from, along with other goodies to try out! There is even an option where you can create your own, I did not look into this, so I am not sure how it works.

Some other flavors of pies she offers are; Almond Joyful, Almond Raspberry, Caramel Chocolate, Fudge Brownie and many more! These pies would be a great gift idea for the sweet tooth in your life!

The Peanut Butter Cookie Pie I got was very delicious! The crust wasn't your normal pie crust; that's where the 'cookie pie' comes in. The filling, of course, was all peanut butter, really creamy rich peanut butter. On top, there was drizzled chocolate!

This was definitely a great review to do! I had to use all the power in me to not eat the whole thing!!

You can get your cookie pie at their website!

Party-Tizer's Dippin Chips Review and Giveaway!

I got these really cool chips delivered to me. Dippin' Chips! They're great for dippin'! I received five

Sour Cream and Onion

The first flavor I tried was the potato sour cream and onion. I will have to admit, they were way more flavor packed than normal sour cream and onion potato chips I have ever tasted. They were incredible! I didn't get the chance to dip them in anything, but I really don't think they need anything to be dipped in, they have enough flavor on their own. They were really crunchy and delicious!

Super Grains

The next flavor I tasted were the super grains; quinoa, amaranth and black sesame. These are great salsa chips! I am a big fan of chips and salsa and chips and cheese. These were also way better tasting than any other kind of tortilla chip I have ever tasted. So far, the Dippin' Chips have won me over and I still have three more kinds to try.

Veggie

I then tried the Veggie; kale, carrot and spinach. I didn't think I would enjoy this flavor, but I was wrong. They would be great for spinach dip! If only I had some. They were great and one of the best kind that I have tried so far.

Three Bean

Now, on to the Three Bean; black bean, red bean and adzuki bean. Another great salsa chip! Or maybe of you like re fried beans, with some cheese on top... Yummy! They were also really great plain. I tried them with Tostitos Smooth and cheesy dip, and that was really great!

Sea Salt

Last, but not least, potato sea salt. I really enjoy salt and vinegar chips, so I thought these would be really good, they were! Probably my least favorite flavor of them all, but they weren't bad. This would be a veggie dip kind of chip, or basically anything you would dip a potato chip in.

I honestly cannot choose a "favorite" out of the flavors, they were all pretty good.
You can order your Dippin' Chips here!
Like their Facebook page!
Also, follow them on Pinterest!

The Party-Tizer's Dippin Chips company was also nice enough to give my readers a chance to win their own!! There will be three winners, who will receive a box of all five flavors!!

Shelton's Poultry Review!!

Look at that! More JERKY!! Another company has sent me some yummy stuff to try out! This time, I received peppered original turkey jerky, hot and spicy turkey jerky, jalapeno turkey smoked snack sticks, original turkey smoked snack sticks, ad pepperoni flavored turkey smoked snack sticks. They also sent me some turkey chili with beans, mild turkey chili with beans and a can of premium breast of chicken to try out. All of these products are gluten free.

I tried the peppered original first. I didn't think I would like it as much as I did because of the pepper, but it was really good. It's a thin cut jerky but it was really tender. I thought it was a bit peppery, so I didn't eat the whole bag like I normally would when it comes to jerky.

Next, I tried the hot and spicy. Once again, I was a bit hesitant, I don't like spicy foods. It was definitely hot and spicy! My mouth was still burning from the peppered jerky, but it made my mouth burn even more! When I swallowed the tiniest piece I could find in the bag, my throat was on fire!! This jerky would be great for the heat lovers in your house!

I then tried the pepperoni flavored stick. It had a really good pepperoni flavor. Definitely great for letting my mouth cool down from the previous two flavors I tried. I thought it tasted great!
Pepperoni flavored turkey stick

Following the pepperoni, I tried the original. I will have to say, this one was my favorite! It was really good. Just a plain turkey stick. I could taste the smoked flavor, but it wasn't overpowering.

Original flavored turkey stick

Finally out of the jerky selection I had to try, I tried the Jalapeno flavored stick. It was a little spicy, but not to bad. Still had a great flavor.

Jalapeno Turkey Stick

After trying all the jerky, I tried the mild chili. It was delicious! It wasn't a soupy chili, it was a chunky chili. Not spicy at all, so that was a plus! I definitely would like to have more of this.

Mild Turkey Chili

Although, I didn't get the chance to try the spicy turkey chili, I was all spiced out, I have a feeling that when I do try it, it will be just as good as everything else I tried from the Shelton's Poultry company. I also did't have the chance to try the can of chicken. But I think it would make a great sandwich.

You can find your jerky or chili along with a bunch of other stuff they offer at their website! They also offer pet treats!

Nick's Sticks Jerky Sticks Review!

Ahh! More jerky! I am loving this! The Nick's Sticks company was nice enough to let me try their completely delicious jerky sticks! Regular beef, spicy beef, regular turkey and spicy turkey. They were all really good! I liked the turkey ones better than the beef, but I ate them all! Well, I shared them with my kids, I had to, they don't let me eat anything without them trying it.

I was really happy that these jerky sticks were more healthy than the jerky you buy in stores. There are no additives, no preservatives, no MSG, no antibiotics, no hormones, no fillers and no red dye #3 in their casings.
Nick's Sticks also treats their animals very humanely. Their cows are grass fed, and their turkeys are free range, non of that chemical and hormone filled crap most other places feed their animals to make them grow faster. This is always nice to read, I am a HUGE animal lover! Growing up, I lived on a farm. We would raise our cows, pigs, chickens and more and then get them butchered. It was always hard, but it's a part of life and I learned that the hard way.

You can find you Nick's Sticks at their website, also you can read more about their company and their animals.

Jimmy's Sticky Jerky Review!

Yay! I got some jerky to try out for all of you! For those of you who don't know me, I LOVE me some jerky! So yes, I am excited!

I was offered the choice of two flavors out of the seven they offer; turkey sweet, beef sweet, beef black pepper, beef cilantro and lime, turkey heat, beef heat and beef fire. I am not big on spicy foods, so I chose the turkey sweet and the beef sweet.

So, when I first opened the package of the beef sweet and pulled out a piece, it was almost as if someone had just made homemade jerky! They jerky was super sticky, and looked amazing! Then comes the fun part; I tried a piece. It had a really good flavor, but had a little bit of a bite of spice to it. It was a little tough, but mostly tender! I would totally buy this brand of jerky if I seen it in a store!

Now it's time to try the turkey sweet. Same thing with this jerky, sticky and fresh looking, great smell, now to taste it! Definitely tender, more so than the beef sweet I tried. Really good flavor! I definitely liked the turkey sweet better than the beef sweet.

This jerky was a cool review for me to do as I am from Michigan and the owner (Jimmy) is from a small town in Michigan called Shelby.

You can find Jimmy's Sticky Jerky at their website, follow them on Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram. Also, like their Facebook page.

What flavor's will you chose?
